DEPOT REPAIR PROCEDURES

STANDARD REPAIR PROCEDURE
  1. Board cleaned with solvent
  2. No visible dust or dirty parts on the board
  3. Goldfingers cleaned
  4. New part #, CL1 Level, Wirelist # and Revision labels
  5. Minimum 10 passes MODCOMP diagnostic
  6. Board flex tested
  7. Vibration tested during several passes of diagnostics
  8. All IC's reseated after vibration testing
  9. Thermal testing during several passes of diagnostics
  10. Voltage margins (4.75 VDC & 5.25 VDC) during several passes of diagnostics
  11. 90 day warranty

If board is a CPU, EAU, IOP, CP, TAPE, or DISC, the following may apply

  1. Memory diagnostics with 2MB tested
  2. IOP diagnostic with multiple tasks run at the same time
  3. CPU diagnostics in pipeline and virtual modes
  4. Comm. processor and 1907 diagnostic tested simultaneously
  5. MAX II, III, IV, or MAX 32 testing for minimum of 4 hrs.
PREMIUM REPAIR UPGRADE

— Complete refurbishment, part will look and perform "like new"

  1. Includes all of the procedures above
  2. Corrosion on board removed
  3. All IC's with corroded or tarnished legs replaced
  4. All IC sockets re-tightened
  5. All IC's clean and dirt/corrosion free
  6. New dipswitches installed
  7. Special consideration given to appearance (will look "like new")
  8. Upgraded to latest revision level (by request only)
  9. 180 day warranty
